Hi all,

I am searching for any log files on the HP Procurve 1800 24g. I need to know what is happenning on that equipement.
Since the web gui does not seems to provide such information.
Is there another way ?

Well, since that equipement support VLan, it should have log to inform you, if i setup them, how am i going to check what is going on that appliance ?

How can i be sure there is no error on it (CRC error, speed troubles, etc ....) ?

What does that have to do with vlans?

And since the switch provides no log, you'll have to do this by checking the equipment on the other end.

You are the happy owner of the lower end web managed switch, with limited functionality, however there is Show Port Statistics, where you can display statistics on network traffic from the ports. These statistics
can be used to identify potential problems with the switch (such as a faulty
port or unusually heavy loading)
