http / ping & snmp (management) timeout hp

Hey guys

I have a confusing problem. My brandnew 4204vl Switch has a lot of Timeouts.

STP is already disabled. Does anyone have an idea?

Can you describe the problem in more detail?
timeout : when? during what operation? from where?

Hi

Well it's very simple...

If I start a continuance ping, about 50% of the packets are lost. We're also monitoring the unit and there we have a lot of snmp timeouts, meaning no response. The unit is also not reachable via
telnet or http. It seems like the whole management is down.

But all the network traffic works fine.
