LACP Issues on 4108GL

I have a issue where I have one Windows XP Pro, twin-tailed pc on my network and whenever this machine is rebooted, it causes my 4108gl to block all its ports due to LACP and then it unblocks them. The ports consist of 24-10/100 ports and 7 "gl" l-gigabit transceiver modules (21 fiber ports to other switches total.)
When this happens, not all of the disconnected switches reconnect, thus causing network issues.
The pc's nics are 1 on-board gigabit and one 3com add-in 10/100 NIC. The add-in is connected to a DSL router and uses DHCP. The other is a gigabit-on board NIC set to my networks IP range and auto negotiate speed.
I've swapped ports/addresses to try and diagnose a bad NIC, but no joy.
Anyone have any thoughts about this?
Thank You in advance for your help..

Have you ever tried to deactivate lacp on the port?
