Procurve 2524 Gigastacking with Vlans
Hi, I'm trying to connect 2 hp procurve with gigastacking and VLANS.
I'm having a problem with transporting vlans trought the gigastack connection. When I live the gigastack port with no configuration regarding to the vlans, no vlan pass (this is normal). when i start to configure the vlans in the stack ports, the vlan 1 desapears. can you tell me how should i configure the gigastack ports?
thanks
Luis Rodrigues

Re: Procurve 2524 Gigastacking with Vlans
Hi Luis,
by default all the swith ports are in VLAN 1 and if you want to giga ports for runing truking, you need to command that port for "no shut"

Ok, i just have one doubt, when you refer "trunk", are you refering to trunk as in cisco or trunk for hp? I ask this because the meanings are diferent between them.
Thanks
