Set up ssh between a client and hp procurve 2524.

I would like to set up the above with password authentication and not public-key authentication. Is it possible? If so, what commands do I enter on the hp procurve 2524 switch?

I did this today on a newer switch:

password manager
ip crypto generate ssh
ip ssh

That's all I needed.

Hi Matt,
Thanks for your pointers. I have already obtained a copy of the security command set for this switch and mapped out my intinerary. Your pointers gave me the confidence and I did it with two commands as you said, but not the same commnds though.It worked like magic. Again, thanks a million.
