SFP+ back to back connection
I was wondering if you can use an SFP+ direct attach cables to connect two servers back to back (direct server to server) without an intervening switch?

Re: SFP+ back to back connection
If the NICs on either side support the DAC in question, I see no reason why it shouldn't work.

Re: SFP+ back to back connection
We've connected a HP Flex10 to a 5406 with a DAC which works fine even though we couldn't find any specific document mentioning support for the DAC on the Flex10 cards.
