SNMP oid for AP420 number of client assoc.
Hi.
I want to be able to monitor the number the client associations across a few procurve 420 access points, so I get some idea on the load distribution.
Does anyone know oid I can use to retrieve the number of clients currently associated with the AP?
regards

Re: SNMP oid for AP420 number of client assoc.
Hi Rod,
I believe it is 1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.14.11.6.4.1.1.8.1.1.4
enterpriseApSessionAssociated OBJECT-TYPE
SYNTAX TruthValue
MAX-ACCESS read-only
STATUS current
DESCRIPTION
"Whether the session is associated or not. It is rare case that
not associated stations show up in the table."
The MIB file for the 420 is in the zip file with the firmware. You can then load the MIB file into a MIB Browser (the free version of ireasoning MIB Browser is fine) where you should be able to find whatever OID it is that you're after.
