Tag XL control module

I currently have an XL control module in a 5308 switch that is managed by a 740WL. When the XL module shows up on the 740WL it shows as being untagged. Is there a way of tagging the XL module. The module is currently untagged to uplink vlan (3) but tagged to downlink vlan (2000).
