Boot from SAN : Can I add another disk to vg00?
I'm using boot from SAN on rx2660 and EVA4400. and now I want to expand vg00 to extend root file system.
Can I add another vDisk to vg00?
Are there any problem with booting 2 disks?

stand ,swap & root needs to be contagious file
systems other wise machine want boot.
To extend root there is a workaround but ignite is the recommended solution.
yes there can be multiple disks in vg00
but you can not boot from multiple disks
together as /stand swap & root needs to
be contagious.

Re: Boot from SAN : Can I add another disk to vg00?
Sure... why not?
It should pose no problem with your boot environment IMHO.
But instead of adding a disk, why not just enlarge the EVA vdisk?
You're on 11.31 - right?
