Can not loggon

Hi Mates, I have a Debian server, when I try to loggon the server showme the following error:
The programs included with the Debian GNU/Linux system are free software;
the exact distribution terms for each program are described in the
individual files in /usr/share/doc/*/copyright.

Debian GNU/Linux comes with ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTY, to the extent
permitted by applicable law.
Last login: Mon Dec 20 10:45:40 2010 from 192.168.1.185
/bin/bash: No such file or directory
Connection to 192.168.1.175 closed.


I can┬┤t logg on

Anybody can help me

this is the error.

/bin/bash: No such file or directory


find bash or use a different shell for this user

Hi,

Are you trying to login directly to the console or is it remote login? Are you a normal user or root?

Hi,

Is it a production server?
Have you tried single user mode?
If you can try to boot in rescue mode then can you check if you find the below command:

#/sbin/getty

if this command is not found than check for the util-linux package as it provides getty.

Yes, this is a dom-0 host server for XEN virtual machines production server.

The VM├В┬┤s working without problem but I can not reboot rigth now.....
Another choice???
