Cannot get HP Storageworks FCA2214DC qla2xxxx RHEL 5.2 kernel version 2.6.18-92.el5 installed
Downloaded the driver from HP web site and hp_qla2x00-2008-05-09.tar.gz was extracted to /tmp folder. Try to run the qlinstall and install script does not work, but no avail. Please send me the instructions how to get this driver installed on RHEL 5 update 2 so the SAN can be recognized.

Verify that the module being used is provided by the kernel
# rpm -qf /lib/modules/2.6.18-92.el5/kernel/drivers/scsi/qla2xxx/qla2xxx.ko
kernel-2.6.18-92.el5
Load the module:
# modprobe qla2xxx
FATAL: Module qla2xxx not found.
After fresh install of RHEL Linux 5.2, I was able to verifiy that the qla2xxx driver were installed.
Thanks,
virtuale
