Concurrent Filesystem Activity Causing "ll" Hang?

I have an rx8640 (11.31) running Oracle and Informatica (IZoom). I have a directory (/var/opt/zoom/data/tmp_logging) that seems to be hanging whenever doing an "ll."

There seems to be a lot of file activity in that directory as indicated by the below:

Is there any way that increased concurrent activity of files can make "ll" hang? Any thoughts?

These processes all look like they are hung too.  Do they change?

Well if the NFS server is hung.  Or some process is dumping a huge core there.
