Could RHEL 5 connect a SCSI DS2300 ?
Hello all,
I want to create a test environment using RHEL 5 to use a SCSI DS2300, via a suitable SCSI interface. The Server is a DL380 G3.
Does the above combination work ? Or is it a combonation that can never work ? I can't seem to find any software to make the linux server talk to the DS2300 box.

Shalom,
If the system has a compatible SCSI connector, I see no reason why this would not work.

Re: Could RHEL 5 connect a SCSI DS2300 ?
If a compatible adaptor is available, what are the tools that can be used for this purpose ? For example is there something like IRM (HP-UX), which could be used on RHEL ?

Re: Could RHEL 5 connect a SCSI DS2300 ?
Hi Noel,
I would say YES..!
because i have connected DS4000 and also DS8000
with RHEL 5/4. it worked fine.
All you need to check the compatibility of your HBA with DS2000.
Good Luck..!
