DL380G5 & QLogic issues
We're running into a number of issues with the following:
DL380 G5 with RHEL 5.3 64-bit & HBA model HPAE311A (QLOGIC qla2xxx drivers)
We're getting the following errors that drop the connection to our VTL (DXi7500):
kernel: qla2xxx 0000:0b:00.0: LIP reset occured (f7f7).
And
kernel: st1: Error 6080000 (sugg. bt 0x0, driver bt 0x6, host bt 0x8).
kernel: st4: Error 20000 (sugg. bt 0x0, driver bt 0x0, host bt 0x2).

Re: DL380G5 & QLogic issues
Hi Peter
Did you install the ProLiant Support Pack (PSP) Software from HP?
You will get a new kernel with a HP QLogic Kernel module. After that, check the logfiles again on errors.
Cheers
