It may be a little late for this answer but it might help others.
Connect to the server via MP (default password Admin/Admin). You can connect via IP (if configured) or rs232 via the rear MP RJ and RS232 ports. You can do this while the OS is up and running, no need to down the machine.
issue the CM command ie MP>cm
commands can be listed and described by issueing the HE LI command
then issue the SS command ie MP:CM>ss
SS displays the System Processor Status - ie how many physical CPU's are installed
then issue the DF command ie MP:CM>df
you can then S for specific FRU or A for all.
The DF command will display the specs of the processor ie. Speed, Model etc.
Note with the rx2660 there are both single and dual core processors available. Not sure about other models.
