What does this error message means SCSI: Target detected parity error - lbolt" from syslog.log ?

Hi:
The error indicates an I/O error of some sort.
If it persists, check your cable connections and your device seating.

Trying to take backup or some sort of things with tape drive,if so change cable

Hi Deeos,
Paste here some lines from your syslog, this way we could identify the failing device. Or, the best would be to open a HW Call at HP support to get this problem analyzed and solved.
