Re: error on logical drive 1:

The message says there is a problem with drive 3, this is logival drive 1 (RAID0!!).

Do you mirror the drives with LVM???

If not, backup the data from this drive, replace it, configure it again as a RAID 0 drive and restore your data.

When you have replaced the disk, use sautil with "accept_media_xchg" to enable the RAID0 again.

Example:

# sautil /dev/ciss3 accept_media_xchg 3

WARNING: The status of logical drive 3 will be set to "OK". The
status of all physical disks that have been replaced on this

While this option preserves the RAID configuration (logical
drive configurations, controller settings, etc.), data on the
failed logical drive may have already been compromised. If
more disks have failed than the RAID level can accommodate,
you will need to restore your data from backup media.

Are you sure you want to continue (y/n)? y

Re: error on logical drive 1:

You have disks in slots 1, 3, 7, 8 - the slots are marked on the chassis.

Hope this helps!

Torsten.
