EVA virtual disk not visible to host

I have an EVA 4400 connected to host A. I created a virtual disk using the commandview interface, and presented it to host B. I connected host B fiber card to the available FP1 port on the EVA and ioscan shows the controllers, but not the virtual disk on EVA. How do I see the virtual disk from host B?
Thanks

Re: EVA virtual disk not visible to host

So I do have 6795A cards - does that mean I am out of luck?

Re: EVA virtual disk not visible to host

Several things can be done. Replace HBA, upgrade OS, or maybe, install Secure Path, add a switch and etc...

Re: EVA virtual disk not visible to host

Shalom,

insf -C disk.

Confirm the WWN of the HBA card is what the LUN is presented to on the EVA

Re: EVA virtual disk not visible to host

I had meant to check that this was the same port I originally had tested on - and it was not. I had changed to a different card on the host. It can be seen now. Thanks Steven!

Hi Dave,

I hope you have autopath installed in your systems. If you have then run the following commands in following sequence.

autopath discover

insf

ioscan -fnC disk.

Then check the disk through

autopath display all
