Failed boot

Hi All!

My PA-RISC with hp-ux 11.23 will not boot. I did some basic check and concluded that the primary disk has crashed and the system is not able to boot from the mirrored secondary disk.

Kindly help.

Just to start, capture the system output and post.

From boot menu, do

Hope this helps!

Re: Failed boot

Looks like the alt path does not exists? The alt path points to an IDE device, but not to the DVD drive ...

Is the disk mirrored at all?

Try maintenance mode.

Do you got a prompt now?

Hope this helps!

Re: Failed boot

Yes, do this please!

LVM: VG 64 0x000000: Quorum check failed!
LVM : Activation of root volume group failed
Quorum not present, or some physical volume(s) are missing

Whatever the mirrored disk is.
There is only a single internal disk listed.

Hope this helps!
