File copy from HP LTO Ultrium tape.
Hi Experts,
I want to copy sap backup’s logfile from HP LTO Ultrium tape to OS local path. please help me about this issue.

The method you use to get the file off of the tape depends entirely on the method used to write the file to the tape.
So, how was it written to tape? tar? fbackup? Some commercial backup program?
Your question can't really be answered until the questions are answered.

You'll have to use brrecover. The SAP brtools packages is proprietary and it appears it does not save simple files like tar. Instead, it is more of a database structure and contents backup program.
