Re: How to check LUN Detected on server

Hi

>> 1)How to check LUN Detected on server  for 11iv1 and 11iv3

Use below command to find detected LUNs on system

# ioscan -fnC disk

>> 2)how to find which are disk file is belong from storage(LUN)

From which storage are LUNs given to system...based on storage controller, it will show disk description and with description, u will get to know its storage

You can also use below command to find out its storage

# diskinfo -v /dev/rdsk/cxtxdx

Cheers..

Re: How to check LUN Detected on server

Depending on the storage array model there are several tools that can help, like evainfo and xpinfo (delivers LUN details, device file, etc).

In 11.31 you can also use for example

# scsimgr -p get_attr all_lun -a hw_path -a device_file -a wwid -a serial_number

Hope this helps!

Torsten.
