sounds like speculation and scare tactics to me.
oracle's own linux distro is basicly RedHat with another name slapped to it. meaning that when they stop supported RH it will still run, but you won't be able to get support for it (which is the real issue).
don't know if they really want to risk that move anyway.

I have a serious doubt whether something like this will happen
Now that distros have stopped supporting Itanium in their newer versions, which is the best platform for similar high end computing?
if oracle stops support for other linux distros wont they face anti-trust charges? Stopping support like this will only lead to mis-trust about the product amongst its customers?
