Re: HP Itanium Server
If your machines have internet access then ensure that they connect to Network Time Protocol servers and synchronise the time as part of start up (it will also do this as an ongoing exercise).
If they don't have internet access then your need to get a suitable radio clock slaved to your local time standard (MSF in the UK, WWV in the USA, most countries will have their own). Read this clock (it will typically connect to a serial port) as part of your system start-up procedures and set the system clock accordingly.
The snag with the latter method is that such clocks are not available in the local store and you might need to do quite a bit of googling to find a vendor. Check what time standard station applies to your area first.
In both cases you need to ensure this is done before the application starts.

Re: HP Itanium Server
Take a look at the battery situation and use ntp to maintain the time on the system.

Re: HP Itanium Server
If the clock difference is minor and that is very sensitive to your application then obviously you should go for NTP configuration.
But if the date is getting changed then it should be some hardware issue. Check the batteries and log a case with HP if needed.
