HP-UX 11.31 can see FC HBA, but no LUNS/DIsk

Running HP-UX 11.31 (HP-UX B.11.31 U ia64 ) on rx2800 i4. Storage admin can see WWN number from Server HBA on switch and setup the zoning for the disk.  HP-UX server cannot see any LUNS or disks.

ioscan -fnC disk shows no disk except for internal virtual disk and CDROM.

 scsimgr lun_map  commands retruns no external LUNS.

Switch is a Nesux 5548UP with 8GB HBA and the storage is a PURE storage system. Any suggestions?

somehow i doubt that this array supports hp-ux. can you confirm?

Yes, this storage array supports HP-UX. We have other HP-UX systems that are using LUNS from the PURE storage array. The other servers are blade servers though.
