HP-UX 11.31 SAM core dump

Hello experts,

While I have exhusted why SAM is still trying to be used in a newly upgraded PA RISC box(s)  I am looking for help as to why SAM core dumps and if SAM is/should be still avail. for any purpose.

- SMH should have been packaged in 11iv3 ??  and I am wondering if set up is not proper/

here are some case notes:

ths problem started on multible pa risc system after updting to 11iv3

Actions taken so far: got tusc trace, core files and libararies, checke the stack trace, reproduced the problem and indtified the culprit component. the application listGoups callec by sam user management interface will dump core and sam is hanging. the problem was identified to be in libwebadm.sh veriosn B.00.02.04.09 . the version B.00.03.03.03 is working fine.

The current version customer has and not working

/opt/hpsmh/lib/libwebadm.sl:

libwebadm Build Date: 19:37:53 May 18 2011

the working version

/opt/hpsmh/lib/libwebadm.sl:

libwebadm Build Date: 15:58:02 Dec 17 2008

Please, any help would be Kudos a plenty!  LIB issues maybe not set ?

Yes, your bad lib is in hpsmh.

Have you contacted HPSC?

You said B.00.03.03.03 works but also the newer build date isn't.  That seems to contradictory??
