Installing ImageMaick in Suse 10.

Hi

One of the user in my company raised a ticket to install convert and composite commands of imagemagick.

I have some following doubts

1) can we find imagemagick supporting suse liux.

2) where we can find?

3) free or licenced?

4) does it has any vulnerability?

Did Google go out of business? You seem to
be able to spell ImageMagick correctly some
of the time, so I'd expect a simple Web
search to find its Web site pretty easily.

Re: Installing ImageMaick in Suse 10.

Hi Sajjad Sahir,

I am using Suse Enterprise linux 9 and 10.

So pls tell me the package name then only i can install.

I searched following names "convert", "composite" and "imagemagick" in yast-->software-->software management

but i did not find any thing.

How to solve this.

Re: Installing ImageMaick in Suse 10.

maybe it is not available in the official 10.0 Server repository
in 10.2 and u can see it in my opensuse repository

If you are going to compile it you need at least the libjeg package and most likely libpng package. But the list of required libraries is long and there might be others you might require.
The required list should be in the documentation somewhere.
