installing the Apache http server as non root user

Hi

we had installed the HP-ux apache web server and we need to install on the non-root user. the default installation of the software depot was installed as root and is there any document to change the installation to the different location rather than /opt and with the different user [non root user ]

Hi, you posted on the wrong HPE Community sub-category, here you are on HPE Networking -> Switching and Routing -> Web and Unmanaged (where "Web and Unmanaged" are meant about "Networking Switches" not about Software and/or Web Applications).

Better if you re-post or ask the HPE Community moderator to move your original post on its proper place:

https://community.hpe.com/t5/HP-UX/ct-p/itrc-117

Which is the HPE Community -> Servers and Operating Systems -> Operating Systems -> HP-UX sub-category.

What, exactly, did you install?  Which depot, obtained from where?

Why?  What, exactly, is the problem which you are trying to solve?

Why does this directory matter to you?  Again, what, exactly, is the
problem which you are trying to solve?

It is often more helpful to describe the actual problem to be solved
than to ask how to implement some particular "solution" to that problem.
