Re: IPV6 ftp address receive error Unknown host
Hi Dennis,
Greetings & Good day
Yes "nslookup also fails"
$ /usr/bin/nslookup 2400:3c00:0:1cb::229
Using /etc/hosts on: uxd07
looking up FILES
Trying DNS
*** ns01.dc1gw.sony.com.sg can't find 2400:3c00:0:1cb::229: Non-existent domain
$ grep uxd07ipv6 /etc/hosts
2400:3c00:0:1cb::229 uxd07ipv6
$ more /etc/nsswitch.conf
hosts: files [NOTFOUND=continue] dns
ipnodes: dns [NOTFOUND=return] files
services: files
protocols: files
networks: files
rpc: files
netgroup: files
regards,
Johnson
