Kickstart on RHEL 4 update5
Hi All,
We had succesfully created Kickstart for RHEL 4 update 4.
But we are facinf some issue in RHEL4 update 5.
1.We are using the same ks.cfg file.
2.in discinfo we ordered the cd number as 1,2,3,4,5.
3.While installing it detects all the hardware and says " REdhat Distribution cd not found"
What will be the issue.

Re: Kickstart on RHEL 4 update5
Shalom Ganesg,
I would suggest two things:
1) Do a Red Hat 4 Update 5 install, run system-config-kickstart and use that as a base ks.cfg file. Something has changed, though on first glance, I don't know what it is.
2) Use the anaconda.cfg file from an update 5 install and compare it to one from an update 4 install and see what changed. Implment these changes in your update 5 kickstart file.
I also think you should post the detailed solution you reach because it would be helpful to the community here.

Re: Kickstart on RHEL 4 update5
There is a "dot" file in the first CD, if you don't copy this file to the installation tree, then you will find this error.
I can't remember the name of the file but I think that is .disc*.
