Linux hardware info

I am looking for a command similar to print_manifest in HPUX that provides basic information on the system.
Any idea, anyone?

A few options like sysinfo and scripts have been discussed in a forum thread. It should be useful.

The best report in txt and html is of cfg2html software. Please look for cfg2html in google
