Logging clients that connect to xnptd
Hi,
Is there a way to log all client systems that connect to an xntpd server? I am trying to find out which systems are using the time source.
HPUX 11.23 using xntpd.
Thx

Re: Logging clients that connect to xnptd
The man page says logging to syslog is the default. I ran grep ntp /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log and found many reports of my system syncing to the external source but nothing on what sync'd to me. You might be able to get what you want with -d debug mode. Man page says each occurrence indicates an increased level of detail.
