Mounting sb40c with redhat

I have installed redhat enterprise 5.0 on a bl465c. I have a sb40c with 6 disks next to the bl465c. I can run fdisk on it to put a partition but the partition won't stick.
So is there a document that tells how to prep the device and mount it?

Hi Steve,

Can you let us know exactly what you've done so far...? "...the partition won't stick." isn't a particularly useful error message !

Is is just a case that you need to stick the new filesystem in /etc/fstab ?

Cheers,

Rob

Re: Mounting sb40c with redhat

I finially got the partition to stick and did the usual unix stuff.
All is good now.
Thanks
