which files need to be zipped ?

 

please help me in bringing the % of /opt to below 80% .....

 

 

i need the commands to execute the /opt filesystem to bring it down to below 75% ...

Why do you care how much of /opt/ is used?  If you aren't planning on installing more software, you can let it run at 100%.  The /opt/ filesystem should be read only and should only grow when you add more software.

 

If you need to install more software, you would have to remove any unused software.

Or move it elsewhere and create symlinks to the new location.

HI

Way 1: You can remove some unused depot

Way 2: The most safest way is extend the filesystem if you have free space in you VG. You even can do this online in case of installing OnlineJFS depot.
