redhat 32-bit Compatibility Layer disc is missing

Has anyone been able to run 32 bit binaries under Redhat ia64? The docs say that you need to install the 32 bit execution layer (emulator) - ia32el, which we have installed. It then mentions that "At this point you can install compatibility libraries by inserting the 32-bit Compatibility Layer disc". However, I can't find an iso of this disc anywhere on redhat.com. Bug 172682 - "32-bit Compatibility Layer disc" ISO missing addresses this but has been closed due ot inactivity.
Does this mean that no one has ever run a 32 bit app under redhat ia64? I can't even install yum (we're on RHEL4 for ia64) since it wants the compatibility libraries. Has aoyone gotten around this issue?

Thanks.

Re: redhat 32-bit Compatibility Layer disc is missing

Go to this page (RHN access required):

https://rhn.redhat.com/rhn/software/downloads/SupportedISOs.do

Select "Red Hat Enterprise Linux ES (v. 4 for 64-bit Intel Itanium)". Click the text, not the + sign.

You should reach this page:
https://rhn.redhat.com/rhn/software/channel/downloads/Download.do?cid=2890

The first entry is the Compatibility Layer Disc.

You can also choose the AS version if you prefer - according to the MD5sums, the Compatibility Layer Disc is the same in both versions.

Thanks Matti. That was just what I needed. Installing the packages from the Compatibility Layer disc now.
