rx2660 sas compatibility

I need to migrate on integrity server hp-ux 11iv2 to redhat, I am not sure the integrated Raid product is compatible with redhat ?

# swlist -l bundle |grep -i raid

You should check the quickspecs of the server, but AFAIR linux require a smartarray controller.

You are currently using the default built-in SAS controller chip (LSI), not a smartarray controller, but you probably need a smartarray!

Shalom,

The integrated RAID product on this system is compatible with RH.

You boot the system at console and use a function key to set up the RAID, which is then presented to the system.

For visibility to the OS you install PSP and can then make changes online.

Note that RH did not release 6.0 for Integrity 64 bit processors. Your highest supported level of RH for this hardware platform is 5.x
