SATA Raid Driver at Red Enterprise Linux 4 on ML310 G5
"Unable to find any device of the type needed for this installation type. Would you like to manually slect your driver or use a driver disc?"
This ML310 doesn't have an Floppy drive, so this isn't an option. I need to intergrate the driver into the installation disc or something like this.
Can you give me a HowTo, if this is possible?
Or any other ideas to get the RHEL 4 run on this machine?
Thanks in Advance

Re: SATA Raid Driver at Red Enterprise Linux 4 on ML310 G5
Use a later update.
RHEL four has 7 updates released now. The latest one should have the proper driver.
This class of server should have a function key initiated disk setup program that will let you configure storage so it is usable by RHEL.
PSP, the smart start CD for this server might also have an assisted install for Linux option that should be looked at.
