script to change the owner of the .desktop-icons to root

hi

I've debian lenny with xfce desktop.
I'm looking for a script that runs at login-time, changes the owner of the .desktop-icons to root and gives the user only read- and execute-permissions.

At whose login time? Who will be running
this script?

Whose/which ".desktop-icons"?

Are you expecting a normal user to change
the ownership of a file to another user
("root")?

Is there some actual problem which you are
trying to solve?

This script should be loaded at the system start and system starts automatically using a normal user.
These icons are from a normal user desktop and this normal user shouldn't delete them.
