This is an issue on more than on server and different dc/dvd's have been tried.

Will be awkward to get lsof installed due to the change process in place.

Have tried recreating the device files for the dvd drive on one of the affected systems that has a confirmed ok dvd in the drive and still get the device busy error.

i have the same problem with rx4640 servers hp-ux 11.23. sometimes if i reboot and retry to mount it'll work but this server it's happening on now still displays 'mount: /dev/dsk/c0t0d0 on /media/dvdrom : Device busy'
