upgrading from HP 11.00 to 11.10 on HP 9000/892

Hi,

I have a HP 11.00 Ux on 9000/892. Can i upgrade it to HP 11.10 UX.

Could you please let me know if HP 9000/892 is compatible with HP 11.10.

If I remember correctly the 892 is a T520.  If that is the case then it can run HP-UX 11.11 (aka 11i v1).  There is no 11.10 as far as I know.

The next question is -- Why are you still running that server?  It is HUGE!  It is a LOT of power.  It is OLD!  A slightly newer K-series will provide equivalent processing power.

Going a few steps further an rp3440 or rp4440 will run HP-UX 11.11 as well and be MUCH MUCH faster than the T520.

I agree, a used rp3440 or rp4440 will probably do the job of this large old monster easily.
