On the other hand, however, my other favorite team – HPE Managed Services – was just awarded the TSIA 2022 Innovation Award for Managed Services … for the fourth time!

This is the fourth consecutive year that HPE has won a TSIA STAR Award. This year there were 26 entries from some of the top managed services providers in the world. The Technology & Services Industry Association (TSIA) is the world's leading research organization dedicated to helping technology companies achieve profitable growth and solve their top business challenges.

Services, Sales, Product, and Channel organizations at technology companies large and small look to TSIA for world-class business frameworks, best practices based on real-world results, detailed performance benchmarking, and exceptional peer networking opportunities. Winning a TSIA STAR Award shows a company’s exceptional dedication to being the best in the technology and services industry.

HPE Managed Services enables a customer’s hybrid cloud model by offering multi-platform solutions that address complexity and resource challenges. These fully managed solutions provide customers with proven expertise and processes that are underpinned by a vendor-neutral/multi-cloud control plane enhanced by secure and compliant operational standards, as well as additional services covering asset management, cost optimization, and data-lifecycle management. All of which populate dashboards that provide proactive and predictive insights tailored to multiple customer personas. One dashboard, the HPE Hybrid Operations Console (HOC), was a key element in the TSIA STAR award determination.

The HPE Hybrid Operations Console

Experiencing the full benefits of a hybrid cloud architecture requires the use of a universal control plane to create and manage resources across an entire hybrid cloud IT estate. To simplify and enhance value for our customers, HPE has expanded its cloud automation platform to deliver a consistent technology experience anywhere in a customer’s IT estate—across edges, data centers, colocations, and clouds.

The HPE HOC provides a simple, fully automated and orchestrated experience, with cloud management platform capabilities that can work with any cloud type in a customer’s hybrid cloud estate. It includes robust monitoring integrations, pre-defined catalogs, on-demand real-time analytics, and robust security and compliance capabilities delivered in a single pay-per-use model, all combined with HPE’s award winning AI/ML driven auto-correlation and remediation platform.

The business impact is substantial. The efficiency and simplicity of what is effectively a universal translator across any cloud computing environment drives huge value for our customers, enabling them to place workloads in the right place for the right reasons without the incremental risk of managing multiple cloud protocols and processes.

Additionally, the high degree of automation embedded into the HPE HOC enables customers to position themselves at any point along the managed service spectrum – from being heavily engaged in the details of how their resources are deployed and operated to being “hands-off” and enjoying a fully managed experience.

Bringing it all together

Adopting a hybrid cloud model can dramatically improve an organization’s agility and flexibility. The challenge is to avoid decreasing visibility and increasing risk and costs due to the complexity of managing hybrid and multi-cloud environments. HPE HOC consolidates consumption, management, security, compliance, and cost data to provide a unified holistic view, optimized to allow for informed decision-making across a hybrid estate, and ensuring that workloads are securely running in the right environment at the right time for the right reasons.
