New HPE Sustainability Insight Center capabilities enhance sustainable IT

The latest enhancements to the HPE Sustainability Insight Center were designed to help you realize your transformation. HPE’s mission for the HPE Sustainability Insight Center is to empower you to make impactful changes, lower costs, and achieve sustainable IT goals. The HPE Sustainability Insight Center helps you accomplish these targets through innovative capabilities such as supporting heterogeneous IT environments, unified dashboard and reporting, and more.

New enhancements to the HPE Sustainability Insight Center include support for HPE GreenLake for File Storage and HPE GreenLake for Block Storage built on HPE Alletra Storage MP in EU Central, AP Northeast, and US West. Aruba access point support is also available now in EU Central, AP Northeast, and US West.

The HPE Sustainability Insight Center gives you a current view of the total energy consumption for IT devices that source data from:

• HPE GreenLake Compute Ops Management
• HPE GreenLake for Compute Ops Management – One View Edition
• Aruba Access Points managed by Aruba Central
• OpsRamp for multivendor devices

Now HPE GreenLake for File Storage and HPE GreenLake for Block Storage built on HPE Alletra Storage MP also now provide data accessed through the Data Services Cloud Console as part of the SaaS subscription. Data includes information on greenhouse gas emissions and costs associated with energy consumption.

The tool:

• Measures the carbon footprint of IT assets based on actual energy usage
• Analyzes telemetry aggregated across sites and provides cumulative totals and averages
• Reports carbon footprint and energy costs across sites (per device and site location)
• Reports energy consumption data from devices

With this insightful data, you can make informed decisions about your IT infrastructure's energy consumption and environmental impact. HPE Sustainability Insight Center empowers you to  drive positive change while optimizing operational performance.
