請問tru64 cluster 上patch 該如何做

假設我有3 nodes cluster 的環境

如果我現在要上patch

請問我的步驟跟作法該怎做

Hi Joey,



First to backup all of system disks, such as cluster_root#root, root1_domain#root, root2_domain#root,

root3_domain#root.



1) Stopping all of AP/DB run on this cluster members.

2) 先手動 build kernel 一次，確定可以正常 work and 備份相關檔案 , such as /etc/rc.config, /etc/sysconfigtab, /etc/inittab, /etc/*services*, /etc/d*, /var/spool/cron/crontabs/root...

3) memb1# /var/adm/patch/noroll/noroll_versw

4) memb1# tar xvf T64V51BB26AS0005-20050502.tar

5) cd patch_kit; ./dupatch

..

..

6) Running "clu_check_config" to verify after all of cluster member are completed a new kernwl file and rebooting.

另外請問member2 and member3 在上Patch的過程需要停機嗎

Hi Joey,



Just to stop all of DB and AP processes on this cluster env.



Select the 'no-rolling upgrade" via "dupatch" within multi-user mode on one cluster member1. The other member2 and member3 will automatically to restart and controlled by patch install process.
