HP MSR930 slow WAN performance

Hey,

I've bought a used HP MSR930 JG511A for home use. I've set everything up, just a basic setup, NAT, WAN, LAN and a couple of VLANS. But now here's the first issue. I have a 1Gbps network plan, and speedests are only showing ~600Mbps Download/Upload, while my old crappy Technicolor router is almost able to pull it off at around 900-950Mbps. I remember I've had a similar issue with an Edgeroute, where I had to enable hardware offloading for the speed to actually reach 1gbps. Is something like that possible for MSR930 and is this product even capable of reaching Download and Upload speeds of WAN up to 1Gbps ?

Hi There,

The LAN and WAN ports of this router are capable of running upto 1 Gig speed.

What does "enable hardware offloading " mean ?
