connecting 2 switches v1910 48g on a fiber poin to point with Internet at each site.
I am having a problem, I have 2 switches connected on a vlan 10 with ip address 192.168.100.21 /24 and 192.168.100.22 /24, I have a vlan1 on each switch with ip address 192.168.1.5 /24 and 192.168.3.5 /24.
I have Internet, ican ping any of the vlan's ip, but I cannot ping any computer on the 192.168.1.0 or 192.168.3.0, what can be wrong?

Re: connecting 2 switches v1910 48g on a fiber poin to point with Internet at each site.
Hi Miguel,
Because you are wanting to route your packets between VLANs, you don't need to have VLAN10 tagged, if you untag vlan1 from your VLAN10 ports and make VLAN10 untagged rather than tagged that should fix the issue.
You are performing L3 routing between VLAN1 and VLAN10. The packets that are destined for VLAN10 from VLAN1 are not tagged for VLAN10 so get dropped.
As a test, are you able to ping 192.168.100.22 from 192.168.3.5? because your routing is set correctly for this to work.
HTH

Re: connecting 2 switches v1910 48g on a fiber poin to point with Internet at each site.
the problem is that if I untagg the ports on vlan10 I loose connection with the other router on 192.168.3.5 and 192.168.100.21, I will untagg on vlan1 those ports.
and yes, i can ping the 192.168.100.21 from 3.5

Re: connecting 2 switches v1910 48g on a fiber poin to point with Internet at each site.
Which port(s) are used to connect the two switches together? I see you have one port set with pvid 10 and the others are not, this is not the same at each end of the link. i think this inconsistency is causing your issue.

I untagg the ports on vlan1 but nothing, I can ping from my computer that is 192.168.1.1 to all the vlans, but if I try from the vlans to the Computer I get a reuqest time out

I have vlan 10 on ports 45-48 of both switches and just port 48 is connected to 48 on the other switch
