HP 1810G Clock Help

Hello,

I have just got myself a HP 1810G switch and I am having problem changing/updating the clock on the switch, I am new to networking and am not sure how the SNTP thing works.

Can anyone help me?

Well the first question is, do you have your won sntp server?

Unfortunately I do not have my own SNTP server, do you know if this is an easy thing to setup?

If your switch has access to the internet it would probably be easier if you use your ISPs SNTP server (just ask them for the IP address(es) )

At the moment it doesn't have access to the Internet as I need to sort out some network problems.

But I will give this a go, if I can get my ISP's NTP address from them.
