PoE device inactive when connected to V1910 365W

Hello

Trying to connect PoE device (Ascom IPBS1-A3/4F, Power over Ethernet IEEE 802.3af) to V1910 switch.

Device is not coming up as active on a switch, device's power LED keeps flashing like trying to log in or something. Tested on 5 other V1910 (2928HPWR) switches and getting same results.

Ascom device works OK on external PSU or Cisco PoE switch.

Any thoughts?

Maybe an adapter of some sort is in order. PanOptic Technology makes quite a few elegant solutions for providing power to both PoE and non-PoE devices over Cat-5 cabling:
