STP Path Cost Standards - HP 1810-8G vs HP 1920-24G

I have a home network that uses the HP 1920-24G as the primary switch and an HP 1810-8G as downstream switches in media room. 

There are four Sonos compnents hardwired to the 1920 and one Sonos Connect that I generally attach to the switch where the 1810 is located.  The 1810 is replacing an unmanaged switch.

In order to install the Sonos Connect to the 1810, I have to enable STP.  The STP (RSTP) was enabled by default on the 1920.

My question is in regards to the Path Cost standards on the two switches.  The 1920 has a selection available for the Path Cost Standard and defaulted to using a "Legacy" standard (other choices are 802.1D-1998 and 802.1T) - I am only familar with the 1D and 1T(1W). 

The 1810 does not have a Path Cost Standard selection available, only a Protocol Version (1D or 1W).  Regardless of the Protocol Version selected, the switch uses the 1W(1T) cost standard, applying 20,000 to 1GB ports and 200K to 100Mb ports. 

Both switches are currently configured to RSTP, consistent with what I have read as best practice.

What is the best way to configure the two switches' Port Cost Standards to have a consistent STP?
