V1910-24G PoE SNMNP OID

Hi,

Is there an OiD on the V1910-24G PoE switch that allows me to know if a port has a device connected which uses PoE power? We can see that in the WUI but I need to write a script that gets this info via SNMP.

  Thanks.

Re: V1910-24G PoE SNMNP OID

Hello,

There is an RFC 3621 (http://www.faqs.org/rfcs/rfc3621.html) which offers a PoE MIB, but it doesn't seem to be widely adopted in the industry. I am not sure whether V1910 supports it, but you could try to snmpwalk (http://www.net-snmp.org/) it and see what is available.

Alternatively, if the WUI has the information you seek, you may want to look into cURL to snip the information from that WUI page (http://curl.haxx.se/).

I am not working for the team that supports this switch, so I only have access to the material posted on our web pages, but thought I'd at least offer the above.

Hope it will help you towards a solution.
