Can i upgrade my DL380 G1 to WinServer2003?

Hello,
Can i upgrade, my Compaq DL380 G1 server from Windows Server 2000 S to Windows Server 2003 S?

And if it is possible to use any Version of Smart Start?

You need to use SmartStart 5.50 CD http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/22678.html
SmartStart 5.50 is last SmartStart version supported on G1 servers
After windows installation completed install last Proliant suppport pack.

But if you really want to do upgrade to windows 2003 over existing windows 2000 installation - you don't need SmartStart CD at all (IMHO, clean windows 2003 installation is preferably option)

Make sure you have last server firmware before upgrade to windows 2003

Note that SmartStart 5.50 CD don't have windows 2003 servers as choose, you need to select "windows 2000 server" and put windows 2003 CD when SmartStart will ask for windows CD.

I did windows 2003 installations for Proliant 1600 and ML370 G1 servers in such way without any problems.
