Laserjet 4si and 2003 server
I have a laserjet 4si network printer and the machine that is acting as the prinserver is running 2003 server standard. When users print to the printer it does not print text it will print tables and images but no text. Can someone help me here. It was fine when I had it on an NT4 printserver.

Richard:
How many client computers are there? Do they all fail? What OS do they run?
Try going here:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/DriverDownload.jsp?locale=en_US&pnameOID=15016&taskId=135&prodTypeId=18972&prodSeriesId=25482&submit.y=3&submit.x=7〈=en&cc=us
and click on the OS (use the Windows 2000 driver for the server), then download the driver for the server and the client and re-test.
Try installing the HP Download Manager from a client computer and update the printer's JetDirect firmware, then re-test.
I hope something here helps you.
Make a great day!
